UNITY II reflects the presence two forces in relation —
one that holds, one that moves.

Together they represent a state of containment during change.

This work speaks to the experience of being supported
while still moving forward.

ORIGIN

This piece emerged during a period of intense personal transition.

At that time, my perception had become unusually sensitive — partly due to my ocular condition, partly due to what I was processing internally.

One night, I began seeing two circular forms in my visual field.
They were not external objects — but persistent internal images shaped by light and perception.

One felt warm and steady.
The other cooler, softer.

At first, I felt disoriented.
Then something unexpected happened — a deep sense of calm.

Over time, those two forms stopped feeling intrusive
and began feeling supportive.

Not as guardians,
but as representations of two internal forces learning to coexist.

UNITY II was born from that lived moment —
when perception, fear, and integration reorganized into balance.
